Overview
The STEP Viewer is free to use commercially, the executable package is allowed to be distribute as such for commercial and non-commercial reasons without any license cost.
The source code of this STEP Viewer is available and can be used as example code for embedding the STEP Engine within your own product. Feel free to copy-paste the relevant parts of the example code within your application. Adjusted versions of the STEP Viewer and use of the STEP Engine within your own solutions requires a license at the moment the solution is used commercially.
The complete source code of the STEP Engine (incl. the embedded Geometry Kernel) is available in combination with a company-wide license and has no third party dependencies. Prices named below are for the STEP Engine and include the full version of the embedded Geometry Kernel, the IFC Engine and CIS/2 Engine.
